2nd International Workshop on Carnot Batteries – virtual workshop
Tuesday 15th September - Wednesday 16th September
With great regret we decided to hold the event exclusively as a virtual workshop.
The “Second International Workshop On Carnot Batteries” jointly organized by KIT, University Stuttgart and DLR will be held on September 15-16, 2020.
Make sure to participate in the discussion about this emerging technology and join us!
Carnot batteries, also known as “Pumped Thermal Electricity Storage“ (PTES) or “Pumped Heat Energy Storage” (PHES), store the heat in inexpensive storage materials such as water, molten salt or solids and transform the heat back into electricity when needed.
