INORE Virtual Symposium 2020

International Network on Offshore Renewable Energy

Date: 19 November 2020
Time: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM (GMT)

The International Network on Offshore Renewable Energy (INORE) is an association of postgraduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and other professionals at early stages of their careers, working in the fields of offshore wind, wave, tidal and ocean thermal energy conversion.

INORE has more than 1000 members from over 70 countries, representing a network that spans a multitude of research fields, including technological, social, economic and environmental aspects.

This virtual event will give participants a chance to experience what INORE is all about. The event includes industrial talks with Q&A, a three-minute thesis competition and a discussion session in which panel members and event attendees can discuss the impact of the COVID 19 pandemic on offshore renewable energy.

There will also be networking opportunities via an event brochure, event Slack channel, and a chance for informal conversations with other participants before, during and after the event.

Registration closing date: Nov 18, 2020 (three-minute thesis competition entry closes Nov 6, 2020)
