Smart Local Energy Systems and the UK’s transition to Net Zero
Thursday 30th July @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
What are smart local energy systems (SLES) & how can they support the UK’s transition to Net Zero?
Led by Eva Gromadzki, ERIS Director, this webinar will be framed around the soon to be published 11 UK SLES Concept Design ‘Portfolio Review’ insight report. The Concept Designs were funded by IUK as part of the Prospering from the Energy Revolution (PFER) programme.
The ERIS team will share:
- insights into the latest thinking on the role SLES will play as we transform our energy system
- an overview of the diversity and commonality of the PFER Concept Designs
- expert input and perspective on the eight key themes identified
- recommendations on how future SLES projects should approach some of the challenges identified
The deadline to register for this event is 28 July at 5pm. A copy of the Portfolio Review report will be made available ahead of its formal launch to registered attendees a couple of days before the webinar. Register your place by clicking the button on the right-hand side of this page.
