The Supergen Energy Storage Network+ has come together with the Supergen Bioenergy, Energy Networks, and Offshore Renewable Energy Hubs to hold the Decarbonising Maritime Workshop, taking place online on the 25 January 2021 at 13:00-15:00 GMT.
The aim of the workshop is to bring together academia around the challenge of decarbonising the maritime and shipping sector, and will include the Supergen Hubs and Network presenting on their relevant work, leading to a discussion on how the Supergen programme can mobilise around the opportunities for decarbonisation in this area. The UK Department for Transport will open the workshop with a presentation on the challenges they see and provide insight into the opportunities to develop clean maritime technology going forward.
