Applications are invited for a Research Assistant in Energy Industrial Symbiosis to develop and deploy tools in support of energy-based industrial symbiosis, including education and training, technical support, financing and business plan development. The Research Assistant will be required to work closely with project partners across Europe but also to engage with industry partners in the Humber and support them to develop EIS projects in the region.
The successful applicant will require knowledge of state-of-the-art technologies for energy recovery, transport, storage and conversion so that background Mechanical Engineering or similar will be required. Experience of working with industry will also be essential with knowledge of business plan development a particular advantage.
