
Meeting Recording & Attached PPT of UK National Team Call: IEA Energy Storage
Professor Jonathan Radcliffe organised an online meeting on 26th November 2024 to update the UK energy storage community (in academia and industry) on activities within the IEA Energy Storage Technology Collaboration (TCP) Programme. The meeting had contributions from Network+ members involved in Tasks of the TCP, including from Seamus Garvey, who is leading Task 42 on medium duration energy storage, and described opportunities to get involved in new tasks:
Application-oriented implementation of energy storage systems, proposed by Andreas Hauer, BVES, Germany
TES Material R&D and Component Development, follow-on to Task 40 Compact TES, Proposed by Christoph Rathgeber, ZAE Bayern
Advancing Energy Storage with Artificial Intelligence for Resilient and Zero-Carbon Systems, follow-on to Task 37, proposed by Prof. Frédéric KUZNIK, Univ Lyon
