Make big polluters pay for mass tree planting, officials say

An interesting article by The Guardian talking about the planting of 100m trees a year in the UK to tackle the climate emergency. This would cost £1.4bn a year but provide benefits of at least £4bn and could be paid for by new carbon levies on oil companies and airlines.
