The STFC Batteries steering committee are pleased to announce the opening of applications for two sources of funding from the STFC Batteries network:

• STFC Futures Early Career Award– Grants of up to £3,500 to cover travel and subsistence to enable mobility of researchers between UK and international institutions

• Experimental Design Award– Grants of up to £8,000 for research consumables to support the development of in-situ environments for large-scale facilities research
